I'm having technical issues with the site. How can I get help?
If you can't find the answer you are looking for in the FAQ Section, you can post a question in the 'Forum Stuff' discussion forum. If you cannot post, or are not a member, you can send a help request email to webmaster@capitalusadance.com.
What's the difference between an article and a forum post?
Simple.
An article is like an article you'd read in a magazine. It will stay on the site forever as permanent content for the world to read, and is considered "official" information. Therefore, it must be approved by an admin before it it becomes a part of the site. Once approved, a blurb for it will be displayed on the front page of the site until its age causes it to fall off the recent list.
The forums are like a public discussion hall. Anything you post there is considered just a message from you, and does not need to be approved. All you do is visit the forum you want your message to appear in, and click the "New Topic" button. If you want to respond to someone else's new topic, go to that topic thread (i.e. read their post), and click on the "Reply" button.
How do I change my password?
In the "Members Only" section at the left of the main page, you will find a link called "My Profile". Clicking here takes you to your user profile. Once in your profile, you will see a link called "Edit Profile". Clicking here allows you to change all your personal information, including your password.
To change your password, you must type the new one twice, in both the "Password" and the "Confirm Password" fields. This makes sure you don't mistype and lock yourself out of your account. When you are done making changes, click the "Submit Changes" button at the bottom of the page, and you are done!
I can't log in. What's Wrong?
First, have a look at this article in the FAQ section. If that doesn't help, try sending a board message to an administrator, or an email to webmaster@capitalusadance.com
